A templom v\u00e9d\u0151szentj\u00e9nek csontjai egyenesen az\nolaszorsz\u00e1gi Bari-b\u00f3l sz\u00e1rmaznak. Adom\u00e1nyoz\u00f3ja a Szatm\u00e1rn\u00e9metiben sz\u00fcletett\nvit\u00e9z lovag nemes Kaiser Ern\u0151 sz\u00e9kkapit\u00e1ny, az 56-os Nemzet\u0151rs\u00e9g ezredese, ki\naz ereklye adom\u00e1nyoz\u00e1s\u00e1val az 1952-ben a kommunista prib\u00e9kek \u00e1ltal a templomb\u00f3l\nmis\u00e9z\u00e9s k\u00f6zben elhurcolt, majd beb\u00f6rt\u00f6nz\u00f6tt k\u00e9s\u0151bbi ap\u00f3sa, Ulics\u00e1k S\u00e1ndor\ng\u00f6r\u00f6gkatolikus \u00e1ldoz\u00f3pap eml\u00e9k\u00e9nek k\u00edv\u00e1nt ad\u00f3zni.\nAz erekly\u00e9nek a szatm\u00e1rn\u00e9meti templomnak oda\u00edt\u00e9l\u00e9s\u00e9ben k\u00fcl\u00f6n k\u00f6sz\u00f6net illeti\nDr. vit\u00e9z lovag nemes T\u00f3thp\u00e1l Tam\u00e1st, a Szent Gy\u00f6rgy Lovagrend Budav\u00e1ri\nFaternit\u00e1s Priorj\u00e1t \u00e9s Dr. vit\u00e9z lovag Kov\u00e1cs G\u00e1bort.
